You didn't see many because all of us 993 owners in So Cal are so wealthy we don't have to work anymore.............I wish....

Seriously I see, on average, at least 4-5 p cars everyday and I only commute 6 miles ea. way to work here in San Diego. If I want to see 20+ Porsches in a day, I drive the coast route from Mission Beach north to Carlsbad almost any day of the week with weekends being the best.

I work in the Spectrum in South Irvine. While walking at lunchtime, I always see at least 3 or 4 within 45 minutes. A lot of them are daily drivers, and most are 993s or newer. On Fridays, you see more.

PCH is Newport Beach is full of them all day long.

I don't get it... they're like dirt around here. How could someone spend 2 weeks in Malibu and not see a Porsche? That is really odd...

Ironically, I say 6 black Cayennes within a 5 mile stretch between Crystal Cove and Newport Beach yesterday! Sheesh. That doesn't count a charcole one and numerous other P cars. It's the yellow brick road...

To be specific, I spent the majority of the week in and around T.O. I was in Malibu for most of one weekend, and Santa Barbara for another, including a drive up to SB via the PCH. Seemed odd to me too. I did see a 930 while in SB.

You clearly weren't in the right spots! If there's one thing we have plenty of in SoCal it's Porsches--of every variety and vintage!
