Default Old Yeller HP Question

Hello all:

I have a question? On my original window sticker it states that I have a 3.6L 6 Cylinder 270BHP Motor. I was of the understanding that the 95 993 had a 247BHP Motor. What is correct? Just wondering.

Was there a difference in HP ratings on a 1995 model? Or were they all 270HP? Thanks for the answer.

All of the non varioram 1995 3.6's are rated as 270(272) HP. The 964 3.6's are rated at 247HP. Now post some more pics of Old Yeller

Chris:

Believe it or not I haven't even driven it yet. I have it in my friend's showroom. I needed the space in my warehouse. The weather here is not good. I do have some more pics I will be posting today. I took them on Saturday when we saw the sun last. I have to go get it aligned sometime I've been busy at work and haven't made the appointment yet.

Mike, you better not be afraid to drive that thing when the weather improves. As good as your car looks now, it will look even better with a little road spray on the quarter panels.

believe me it's not a museum piece to me. I finally got the appointment for the alignment on Friday. If the weekend is nice i will be driving it. I just want to make sure everything is done and done correctly before the maiden voyage. In a strange sense I am missing working on it. The fun part to me was getting it transformed. I have nothing to do now. Oh yea drive it I guess. I am still thinking of mods to do to it. Maybe a 3 spoke steering wheel. HMMM.

Sidned:

Many people prefered the KMA sticker. It was kind of a hit.

Pull that one out for Rennlist meets. Ordinary citizens might take it the wrong way and mar Old Yeller's perfect paint. BTW, I would buy a FLY cab in a heartbeat. It is an awesome color.

FYI: MY 95's had 270 hp; varioram engines for MY 96-98 had 282.

Don't know. The locals here organize them once in a while, but I haven't been able to attend yet.
