I skimmed through the various idling speed threads, but couldn't find an answer to this one.
When I'm driving and the car is warmed up, I depress the clutch, release the gas pedal and the RPMs will drop to 1000RPM, bounce back to around 1200RPM before dropping all the way down to around 800RPM. Any idea what's going on?

Mine does that , too. I assumed it was the computer keeping the RPMs up so the car won't stall. I was thinking this is why the MY95 have a problem stalling with the LWF, as they don't compensate for that.

Mine bounces very slightly....comes down to 800 then bounces back to 1000 then settles back to 750....I have LFW and I assume that is what causes....however....funny thing a couple of weeks ago....it bounced 3-4 times...all the time....down to 800....bounce up to 1200, then down to 800 then up to 1000 then down to 800.....and various variations to this....it was driving me crazzzzyyyy as sometimes it would bounce as high as 1300......solution.....I had the a/c on and the temp up warm.....dont ask while...must have hit a/c button accidentally when cleaning.....anyway switch off the ac and all returns to normal......
