I am currently having the heads done on my 993 and decided to start parting out my car. Since the motor is out, I thought this might be the best time to offer my gearbox as a swap for a standard one to my fellow Rennlisters.

The transmission is a G50-30 Super Cup with an 8:32 R & P. The gearing is perfectly suitable for the street and is awesome on the track. It has had a total rebuild at a professional race shop in the northeast this past spring. It has 3 track days and about 2500 miles of use since the rebuild and is in perfect condition. The package that I am offering is as follows:

G50-30 Super Cup Gearbox
Super Cup clutch (single mass w/ steel disc)
Lightweight Flywheel
Porsche Competition Limited-slip
RS Transmission mounts

In exchange I am looking for a standard 993 gearbox with the standard limited slip, clutch and flywheel in good working order with good synchros, plus $$$. This package represents a great opportunity for anyone looking to obtain the single best upgrade for their 993 for a reasonable cost without tying up the car for re-gearing. I will be offering more items later and will be selling the car this spring (see below).

It does sound like an interesting alternative to regearing, which is my current plan A, another PM is on the way.

I have decided to make my car as close to stock as possible. I will sell off the parts and then sell the car. I have fallen in lust with the GT-3, after driving a couple on the track.

Thank you all for your responses. I still heve the unit avialable and out of the car and would appreciate hearing from any of you who might have an interest or know anyone looking to make a major transmission, clutch, LWF and LSD upgrade.
