Looks sweet! Where did you get the wheels at? I was looking into getting some of the BBS RS-GT's.

I love those wheels. I say lower the car .5" more, although you may have problems with that GT2 front splitter.

Joe - I actually bought the wheels/tires new through ebay from seller jett_sale2003. The seller has a storefront in Texas and sells a lot of wheel/tire packages at really good prices. I've seen a set of RS-GT's from the seller, but it was for BMW fitment. You might want to email him and ask if he can get what you want. For reference, I got my set of wheels/tires for $2700 shipped. That's roughly $1000 cheaper than tirerack.com even taking into account the sale at tirerack for the kumho MX's ($650 for all 4). The RE's are $2934 at tirerack, before shipping. I was also considering RS-GT's.

Mark - I agree with you. I feel like the car can be lowered a little more, but that GT2 splitter already makes things difficult around town, and i'm no newbie to driving lowered cars. My previous car (bmw M3) was even lower than my 993, but the thing was, it had a shorter front overhang, and was driven in San Diego. The Bay Area doesn't seem too lowered-car-friendly. Even still, I really want to lower it just a tad more.

AndyT - Unfortunately, they don't come in widebody offset. However, I've seen pictures of a turbo with the same wheels, so I know the narrowbody offset will work.

George - What area are you from? I live and work in emeryville. We need to get a bay area gathering going one of these days.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a good deal, especially after checking out the Tirerack prices.

No problem. The price was good enough to push me over the edge...darn this slippery slope.

Can't believe someone actually thinks my car looks good enough for their background.

im not usually partial to white but yours is a show stopper.

Big reds with those wheels on the white car would look sweeeet...even if you just went low budget and painted them.

Best looking "aftermarket" wheels that I have every seen on a 993....now all you need are some big reds! great stuff.

You guys are too kind. Big reds or just red calipers would look amazing, i agree. What about yellow calipers or a dull gold color to match the color of the "BBS" emblem on the centercaps?
