What kind of grease can you guys recommend that has no odor? I'm going to lube the pedal cluster pivots and master cylinder shaft and dow't want to be left with that greasy afterstink.
Thank,
Mark

Hi Mark,

If you have the OEM white plastic bushings in the pedal cluster, I wouldn't lube them. It can make the bushings swell and bind, and they really don't need lubrication. For lubricating other linkages, door hinges, and parts of that nature, I like Wurth HHS2000. It sprays on like a thin lube (i.e. WD-40), and then sets into a temperature-resistant grease. Another one l like for these applications is Boeshield, developed by Boeing. It sprays on the same way, but is a bit more waxy when it sets up.

I like Swepco in the tube. Used it very sparingly on my '75 when I rebuilt with metal bushings, and it holds up very well. As stated above, grease isn't a good idea on plastic.
