Default Fan bearing needed - dead in the water!

I screwed up my bearing when I was attempting to remove my fan from the alternator shaft. I was able to get just the bearing out and found that its 32 mm OD x 14 mm wide by x 17 mm bore (shaft). Can you let me know where you got the bearing - I searched the internet and cant find it anywhere....

I understand from previous posts that Porsche only sells the bearing and housing (it has the 3 holes and 1 stud to locate the inner v belt pulley) as one unit.

Measure the bearing and consult a bearing supplier such as Mesa Bearing. OD, ID and width. Should be able to find it anywhere.

tj90,
Is the bearing you're referring to the one inside the hub shown in the picture below?

I pressed this out of the fan when I went to the RS single pulley hub. If you like, I can send this to you for the cost of shipping as I no longer have a need for it.

Default WOW!

Yuji:

This is EXACTLY what I need! Do you have a paypal account? If not do you prefer personal check or money order?

I have a FEDEX account if it is easier to ship than USPS... I can send the number and you just fill out a shipper label and drop it in the mail. Let me know. Figure out your costs and Ill throw a little more in.

My email is oside4@gmail.com, shoot me an email on how you want to ship and where you want me to send payment.

My address is TJ Sleboda, 1275 calle ultimo, oceanside, ca 92056.

Best regards,
TJ

TJ,
Didn't realize you were in Oceanside. That's not much further than Dana Point. If you need the part right away, I can bring it down this evening via Air Porsche. Unless you prefer FedEx/USPS.

Thumbs up whatever you want...

Yuji:

You know getting the porsche on the road is top priority. I can drive up, meet you half way (las pulgas) or see you in o-side. My cell is 760-672-1048. Give me a call and when/where its convenient to meet - anytime today is fine. Id be interstested in seeing your RS pulley setup anyway. Not sure wy porsche has 2 belts driving the alternator.

Now if your UPS delivery person looks like this... maybe waiting for delivery wouldn't be so bad

Cool THANKS

Yuji:

Thanks for coming down this evening - your car is amazing (I remember seeing it at the Ventura show this summer - a real head turner).

I installed the bits and the car is running beautifully. I never dreamed that I would be able to drive my car to work tomorrow.

THANKS AGAIN!
