Default EBAY Fraud.. Spinit505@yahoo.com

Got a second chance offer from this tool on a Porsche tail. (from this board) Looked completely official in email format. Almost got me, right until the part where he wanted my name, address, and send payment over, etc. In the meantime I had PM'd the original seller who verified it wasnt him. Buyers beware......

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago with a different email adress. Same method of operation though...a very well done Second Chance Offer. See ScamChecker.com - it is a good place to check, although I'm sure these sh%theads use multiple fake email addresses.

He had a nice story about why he just closed his PayPal account and then asked for a wire transfer...via Western Union. NEVER pay for an auction with Western Union.

A final note: These scumbags usually have nothing to do with the original, legitimate seller. They just troll the auctions looking for runners-up on items that don't make Reserve.

Thanks for the heads up.

Same guy tried to gig me with a second chance offer on some 996 sport seats. I decided to play with him. Below is my email exchange. Read from bottom to top.

Can you accept $675 for the seats? I’ve recently been diagnosed with an abnormally engorged streptocockcus. It’s a very rare medical condition and the drugs are very expensive. That’s all the cash I have right now. What is your paypal address? If you agree to the price, I could paypal the money to you.

I am sorry but I am not able to make more pictures since the package is already done and it is located at my local FEDEX ready to be delivered and I can t reopen the package and loose the warranty and the shipping costs that I have already paid till now .

I’d still like to see pictures of the seats. I bid on several and don’t remember these exactly. It seems they have been removed from the auction. Didn’t I get an email from you stating they had been sold for over the auction amount?

Mark, as an aside, you might want to remove your email address from your post before the "bots" grab it for spam purposes.

Food for thought.

p.s. Leave Sprinit's address.
