The Naples Ferrari Club is organizing their third annual edition of the "CARS ON THE 3rd"...the charming 3rd Street is taken by fantastic cars and the only exclusive corrals are Ferrari and Porsche...last year (I was there with my 356) we had 30 Porsches (including a 959) and the goal is to have more than 50 this year...it's a great event as the 3rd Street is full of trendy stores and great restaurants...registration for person is a couple of bucks payable at site (you get a rubber band to walk through the closed streets) and to show your car, registration is $25...proceeds go to charity...

If you South Fla guys get interested, let me know and I'll send the registration form...check must be payable to "Naples Ferrari Club" and mailed to the Porsche organizer...I'll be there...

Hi Jeff...thanks a lot...as you can see I loved it!!!!

As far as Naples...the 5th ave and the 3rd St. make Naples Downtown...every single store, restaurants and bars are located along this "L"...it's a great little city!

Naples is very nice.

I was suppose to be down there last Oct for our yearly trip, but the hurricane kept us away. Most of my coworkers are heading back in a week and a half, but I won't be joining them this time. Thankfully, the show isn't during that particular weekend--that would have been painful to miss!

Hi Sloth...let me know if you are thinking about showing your car and I'll e-mail the registration form and the Porsche's organizer phone# if you want to talk to him...hope to see you there...last year the Porsche corral was great as we had from 356s to 996s...probably some 997s this year!

Thanks Pedro. The local PCA included an entry form in this months newsletter.

Last year there was a good number of people that came over from the east coast... even a few from Orlando. Hopefully they will all come over again this year.
