i'm forced to travel for job-related reasons pretty extensively over the next two or three weeks, starting on wednesday, and so I'm taking the c2s into andial for a few glitch fixes here and there before i go to spring training.
-somehow the valve spring on my gas tank neck has broken, and now when i unscrew the cap it's just a hole into the nether regions...
-getting a little steering wheel shimmy under light to moderate braking, probably combination of old rotors and some gunk in the ventilation holes.
-low/ rough idle after warming up- probably need the ISV adjusted.
here's where it gets tricky...
CEL light was on the other day, then turned itself off. second time in last six weeks with this behavior. OBDII scan tool shows "manufacture controls- fuel to air mixture ratio". maybe it has to do with lack of pressure in the tank from the broken valve spring? along with the ISV issues of rough and low idle? maybe i need the throttle body cleaned out somehow?
i'm really itching for the LWF/ rs clutch conversion, and if i'm going to replace my clutch this summer i might as well do it now, right?
--and i might as well have them throw the strut brace bar on with it.
--so if they have to replace the rotors, should i have them throw the RS brakes in there too?
hey why not just reprogram the ecu too? CHIP IT!!!
or take out the bumperrets and fill in/ repspray the holes and put S-ducts in?
or the auxillary oil cooler? or the oil cooler switch install?
HELP
thank you citicard! haha

So what kind of new shoes are you planning to getting for your Whip.
Good Luck on the up coming Season
Also, if you are doing new bearings and you are getting new wheels, you might want to consider new studs. My Kinesis wheels were different than stock, and I was happy to get front studs that were 66mm, a little longer than stock, but allowed me to fully expose threads through my steel lug nuts. They are cheap, and that is the time to do it.

things go well this spring, i put some red seat belts in, 3 spoke steering wheel, and maybe some AVUS (avuswheels.com) rims. over the course of the summer i save some dough here and there, and by the time fall comes around, I can buy my ex-teammate's 96 993 TT. Thing is, he plays for another team now, but i told him to hang onto the car (black on cashmere/ carbon fiber, 19" wheels, < 20k miles, exhaust, Stage 3 turbo upgrade...550+ hp) so i can buy it off of him down the road. it's gonna cost me- but it's not like it won't be worth it.
spending money on a second 993, now that's diving down the slope!

i'd love to go with a 3.8, and a remapped ecu...like a widebody rs? haha...but spending 10k or so for that is only going to prohibit me from getting that TT that i spoke of earlier. and two 993's are better than one, right? maybe they can just install the turbo s air ducts, do the RS clutch and flywheel, and then when i leave for another few days i'll decide on something else.
The car I currently have has much of what you are describing, all done by Andial when she was new, by PO owner. My sig has all that was done by them.
I need to have my clutch redone, not sure what I am going to have put back in.
The shop that may do it also recommened a turbo pressure plate as they think that is what is wrong on mine. I am not sure what has to be replaced as it already has a Lightweight Flywheel in it.

i'm installing a few bits
*new rotors, pads etc.
,*the new gas tank neck assembly
*Euro-izing the bumper including legit brake cooling air tubes from the turbo S ducts that they're installing.
no more bumperettes!
oh and while i was in there today to check on things, they had two of the 993 TT's with the 3.8L twin plug 580hp (on pump gas) cars in for service. we started talking, and i asked how much one of those jobs would run, and they said about 40 large on top of the price of a TT....oh is that all? haha
