Default Tranny to Engine bolt torque Value?

Ok I looked and looked but can't find this one! Does anyone know the torque value for the 4 nuts that bolt the tranny back onto the engine? Actually one of them is a barrel nut that also helps to hold down the starter.

Thanks in advance!

I cannot locate it in the shop manual either. The only thing I can find is the starter mount torque spec being 30ft./lbs.

I tighten these 'hand tight' generally.

Looks as though you are making progress!

I used the starter value that Walrod quoted. P-car manuals are about the worst I've used. That said, I don't know where it's at in the manual. Mishmash garbage IMHO. Right there with my Aprilia manual......and that's italian!

The manual for my BMW R1200GS is without a doubt the best. It lists ALL torque values, broken down by group. Really user friendly.

Cheers,
Andy

The torque specification I have written down for the M10 nuts is 45 Nm (33 ft-lb).
