Thx for the clarity. Gotta love the irrelevant emissions effort huh...call me the cold start curmudgeon after watching all these SAI/CEL issues/cars. Seems a shame that the majority were not repaired under the emissions wty. because if I remember correctly since they moved the causant to the valve guides they got it to fall under the much shorter wear based 2/24k wty and most were therefore out of wty. when addressed. Funny thing is that the top end job everyone received was based on valve guide wear but they were almost never anywhere near the factory spec on oil usageto merit the top end job.....I think it is clear that the emperor is not wearing any clothes....
