Default Weltmeister short shift kit.

I just bought one for my 993. Is it a PITA to install? Any comments from people that have it?
Thanks,
Luis

The PO had one in my car. When I took it into Devek.. VB discovered it was installed backwards... he corrected it and much much better now. A highly rated wrench in So CA supposedly did the install.. so be careful.

How does it feel as opposed to stock? My buddy has one in his 996TT, but I have not driven a 993 with one.

Sorry but I've never driven a stock model. After it was installed correctly.. it feels very nice.

i don't know about the weltmeister kit, but for the RS shifter you need to take the existing fork and turn it upside down. This sounds weird but when you are under the car and look at the geometery it makes sense. VB installed mine as well (I got the RS version for $70). The car does feel better with it.
