Any plans????

The "Porsche Drivers Club of South Florida" (informal group of Porscheheads) is also planning a meeting for the first days of 2006...usually lunch, but we could make it together in order to gather more cars...weather is great and I'd love to put about 20 cars together for either breakfast or lunch...a picnic in Key Biscayne, maybe Crandon Park, would be also great...as far as South Beach breakfast location, there's a new "24hours open" place called "Cafeteria" at Lincoln Rd. very close to the city public parking (covered)...charming place!

I think it's time for suggestions in order to make it happen...

I also think we have to admit we don't like to drive in bad weather and have a back up plan in case of rain...maybe transfer to the next Saturday... the last drive to Key Largo had little attendance due to bad weather, although it did not rain that day.

Please post your suggestions and preferences and let's try and organize a great drive/meet for January the 7th 2006...

We will have our regular monthy SBBC on Saturday, 7th!

I'll rather do breakfast but place can be anyone of those, although I'm not big on having picnics with bunc a gearhead guys, if you know what I mean... "not that there anything wrong with that!"

Cafeteria is good, I've only had lunch there but that is good or since the weather probably is good, maybe we'll go Ocean drive, News Cafe or Front "Porsch" being the usual suspects?

I am so sorry I wouldn't be able to join you guys. I can't begin to tell you guys how much I miss those early morning blasting through the S. Florida highway days.

You know, Marcelo (didn't even have Porsche back then!), Rico, Terry... The "old folks" of SBBC if you will...

FYI, little history to 993 & SBBC guys: you who might not know who Robin is (hard to believe there's someone on 993 board who don't "know" Robin but it's been so long I'm sure some of you don't) he's "da man" when it comes to DIY'ing 993's and also, even though it was me who started the SBBC and it's been too long when Robin was with us doing SBBC, it was him who was right there with me when SBBC got started!

Sorry, went maybe little overboard with remember old stuff but just so glad to see you here.

And lay off complaining about my kids' diet! They love steak, they just run around too much!

It's awesome seeing you...it's been so long. If I could just add to what Petu said, you're truly one of the coolest and most knowledgeable P-car (especially 993's) guys I've met and you're sorely missed!!

Oh Boy...temperature will be on the upper 40s Saturday 6:00am!!! This is damn cold for a guy born and raised in Rio de Janeiro...sky will be clear though! I'll have a dinner party Friday night but I'll try and leave my bed Saturday morning as Porsche drives are always great...maybe I'll drive straight to SoBe! Is the final destination decided yet??? News Cafe??? Would be great to have this information as the "not so brave" could get up with daylight...
