Fuel the car the day before because waking up 6:00 am you could pump gas through the external oil filler!!!!

Let me know where the meeting point is. Maybe I'll try to come south and meet you guys in Pompano. Have always wanted to join you...but it's tough to be at your meeting point coming down from Delray. I'd have to get up way too early!!!

Default Naples group..

I just got an email from the Everglades PCA... Naples area Porsche club..

They are looking to start a similar breakfast meeting on the 2nd Saturday. Perhaps the Miami and Naples groups can get together and meet one one side or the other and make it bigger, better for all...

Here is the email I got...

Subject: Porsche Breakfast Club
Date: Thu, 2 Mar 2006 05:31:32 -0800 (PST)

The Porsche Breakfast Club

This is going to be about as informal as we can possibly make it. On the 2nd Saturday of each month we’re going to have breakfast at Mel’s Diner (various locations). We’ll gather together at 9 in the morning and
be home for lunch.

The idea is to eat a lot of food that’s bad for you, drink too much coffee, talk about cars and look at each other’s Porsches in the parking lot. There’s no registration, no official club business and nothing really important.

The goal is to be totally unorganized and just spend time talking about cars.

Here’s a schedule of the locations for the next few months. You can go to www.melsdiners.com to get a map of the various locations, or you can drive around for a while and just try to find the place. That’s what real men do.

March 11 - Mel’s Diner (Naples)

3650 Tamiami Trl N
Naples, FL 34103

April 8 - Mel’s Diner (Bonita Springs)

28601 Trails Edge Blvd.
Bonita Springs, FL 34134

May 13 - Mel’s Diner (Fort Myers)

4820 S Cleveland Ave
Fort Myers, FL 33907

And as long as there is no scheduled Febuary Breakfast perhaps we could meet at the Dunkin Donuts just south of 595 next Saturday ( I know its the second saturday...) and meet them.

Good idea!

However, there's Porsche Club's annual pic-nic at Tradewinds Park

Plan is to start the usual SBBC but little later (maybe around 9-9.30) and after the usual coffee, donuts etc., those who want, will drive to the park and have pic-nic there!

I haven't posted about it yet but will do "official" SBBC post a.s.a.p.

Usually lot of Porsche at the pic-nic so it would be nice place to meet even more folks.

How about if we suggest to Naples people to come down here for a pic-nic?

This is a great idea!!! I already answer Diana Hansen's RSVP (PCA) for the picnic and would be great to start the day a little early with coffee and donuts...I believe attendance for this event will be great...I've been to the picnic before and it's a lot of fun...

see u guys there...

It seems that the Everglands and Gold Coast are planning events against each other. Breakfast against picnik and again on April 1st the Tech day at Naples Porsche against the Collier Museum tour. Perhaps the tour can be delayed an hour or so and everyone that goes to Naples can stop and see their event and then go to the Museum...

Ok so How bout the Miami drivers meeting at the Shell Station ( which has Gas, Krispy Kreme, and Coffee) at Biscayne Blvd and NE 36 Street at 8:45... We can meet, gas up, fill up on sugar and caffine and head to Dunkin Donuts at 595 and meet the boys from Broward by 9:15 and go to the Picnik!!!
