Default Pics of a 121k 10yr old 95 993!

Ok Guys, it's definitely been a while since I last posted pics so wanted to share with you all what a 10year old 121k miles '95 993 looks like! What a great car it's been. Clutch is solid, engine is original (no rebuild) and alternator is original. See signature for goodies added - enjoy!!

Oleg,
Looks great! We have nearly identical cars. What is your build-date?

Wow...looks great. That goes to show that these cars given the proper care, will go a long way.

Taking about care...are those the original seats??? That leather doesn't even have a single wrinkle. Amazing for 120K miles. What do you use on them? Any wear on the driver's side booster?

Thank you for the kind words. Actually, I use Griots leather product twice a year and am impressed with the results. The stuff smells great (very natural) and the seats drink it up. Driver side bolster's have a few nicks in them, but completely normal wear for the abuse they've received. And yes, they are original seats!

These beauties love to be driven. Look forward to celebrating 200k soon!!

Remember to buy Griots leather conditioner first thing tomorrow.

Simply amazing!

Gotta love polar silver and black interior - I fell in love the first time I saw it and never looked back.

Don't have actual build date handy, but I know it was very early build date (definitely first round).

Oleg,
Mine was built 7/94. Quite the old sled I say.

2nd owner - bought it late '99 with 58k miles from a guy who was selling it to get a Range Rover (family move). Did things all wrong back them - bought in on-site without a PPI!! Got lucky because my car has been trouble-free - period! I tracked it often in the first 4yrs, without any issues or problems.

Big Reds? LOL, hardly. This is the one piece of "bling" I did and am not ashamed to admit it. These are factory standard 993 calipers powder coated red with Porsche stencil added later. The factory brakes are sooo beautiful, I wanted to accentuate them - very pleased with the outcome.

Love my factory 17's as well - look just right on a narrow-body 993. And they're lighter than I expected -very nice!

Only work I've done on my car is the regular TLC (5k oil changes, 30k tune-ups, etc..) PSS9 suspension and lowered a bit more than Euro but higher than RS; RS LWF and clutch with RS motor mounts and tranny mounts. Oh, also added clear front turn signals and Fabspeed Maxflow muffler (perfect muffler, imho - just loud enough!)

Cost of ownership, bty, is much better than I expected - very nice.

Also added RS shifter **** - nice.

Threw in some Litronics when they were on sale at our local Porsche dealer a while back - also very nice upgrade.

That about wraps it up!

Thanks. Build Date 4/94.

Very nice Oleg. You definitely have one of the early build dates. Mine is a 3/94 build, I'm the 3rd owner & the car has 52K on the clock. It's my daily driver, so I am looking forward to putting the miles on like you have.

Oleg: Looks beautiful - mine's a 4/94 build date also and 2nd owner. I have 35K on mine. The last 12 months I put on 8.5 K on the weekends only and its been all grins. I hope mine gets up to 121K without problems like yours.

Beautiful, Oleg. I just met a guy with a '95, 140K and it looks sharp like yours. Quality build to begin with + scheduled maintenance + TLC + drive as intended = miles of smiles!

Hi Oleg,

Looks stunning! It really is amazing how good these cars look and drive 10 years later. There are a precious few cars that look and perform this good after 10 years, let alone 20+ for our older 911 brethren. My 95 is at 99K, orig clutch albeit new alternator, but no problems whatever. And I also have 17" Cups which I love ...until I meet one with '02 5-spokers
Congrats, and continue to enjoy in good health!

Edward
