Seat belt retractor removal

Seat belt retractor removal
Hi,
My passenger seat belt retractor sticks from time to time - it will retract, but will not release and as a result the passenger has to disconnect the belt, let it retract several feet and then it can be extended again. I would like to take it out and see if it can be fixed, but it's not clear how the trim panel comes off. I haven't tried yet, but it looks like the rear window trim has to be removed along with the door pillar trim.
Does anybody have a DIY on seat belt retractor removal and repair ?
Thanks

You will need to at least loosen the rear panel, then the side, window trim piece and B piller cover. The side pieces are weakly glued in place so don't be afraid to apply a little force. They will come off.
It's all fairly straight forward, just follow your nose.

I second Bill's suggestion. Very straight forward. Word of advice don't put it back together till you're sure it's fixed. Careful cracking them open. The device is pretty straight forward. No hidden screws.
