See if you can find me a job in California ... We're probably looking at salt on the road within days, and my 993 is my daily driver ...

Doug,

It doesn't snow much in Vancouver, no? Why salt this early?

Hi John,

Thanks for liking the RUF. The PO in Germany did a bang-up job on the car. I'm just a luck guy to find the car for sale.

I will be in Los Altos Hills Country Club (Alexis Drive off Page Mill) Sunday for brunch (friend's invite as I don't golf). RUF should be there between 11:25 to 1:30 or so.

Good that you are in your MDX, it's ICY out. This is what I worke up to oustside my back yard this morning.

Dave,

Between June 1995 and August 2000 my car was a regular C2. In August 2000, my PO sent the car to RUF at Phaffenhausen, Germany and it came back as a RUF BTR-2, plus a ton of goodies.

So yes, it is a conversion.

CP

I don't need much prodding. Mine is a 1996 Twin Turbo that was converted to Turbo R specs by Ruf in 2003 when the car had 86k miles. It had a complete rebuild from the main bearings on out. The car now has 101k miles:

All the leaves are brown
And the sky is grey
I went for a walk
On a winter’s day
I’d be safe and warm
If I was in l.a.
California dreamin’
On such a winter’s day

...

I have to check for cheap fares to LAX or SFO (got on board a westbound 747...). Where can I rent 993s there???

Thanks CP for the effort of puttin up those pictures!!
