Question New member and question

I am a new owner of a relatively stock C4 cab and have already learned a tremendous amount about the car on this forum. thank you everyone. I look forward to many years of enjoying the car and membership here.

I've conducted a search with no luck on how to remove the cigarette lighter assembly - Seems that this is a common problem. I've checked the unit with a voltmeter and get no voltage (yes key is turned on) and have the glovebox removed but access is still very limited. wires appear connected. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum. That is an absolutely beautiful cab! I have the same color combo and wheels on a 98 C2, so I am just *slightly* biased. Can't help you with your specific question, but others will see your request for info, and it's only a matter of time before you get many helpful replies. I hope you enjoy many happy miles in your new ride.

Regards,

Rick

I had the same problem & it was a blown fuse. You should have several spares in the fuse box.

Default excellent - thanks

thank you very much for the great welcome. And Thanks Pedro for the generous offer! that would be great. I'll PM you about the details.

I did check the fuses first thing (on my maiden drive up from the seller in CA) when I couldn't operate my radar detector and had to keep my speed below Mach 1....... fuse was good - changed it anyway - still no power.

Again - thanks so much for the warm welcome!

Hi stace. Welcome to Rennlist and congratulations on your 993 Cab. Very nice.
Sorry I can't personally answer your question.
One of the "local" gurus will surely chime in soon.
Here's a great site for other fixes and mods. www.p-car.com
So are you in Coos Bay? I went to H.S. in Brookings.
