"I remember the moon landing, but a little too young to remember Woodstock. I do remember when gas prices were in the 30's, but also the shortages and long lines.[/QUOTE]

I can actually remember buying gas for 29.9 cents per gallon! I had a big block Mustang back then. Good thing gas was cheap

Wonder where gas prices will go in the nect 30 or so years.

I can, too. Also remember passing up a station selling it for 29.9 to get to a station 2 blocks up selling it for 28.9 with the gas gauge just touching "EMPTY" on my Austin America. Ran out of gas just as I was trying to pull into the station (was how I learned that that Austin had the most accurate gas gauge on earth - "Empty" meant "EMPTY, DUMMY!").

As an E, with a C wife and friends in every catagory, I think our "mental ages" likely have a different profile!

I also think that the age distribution of all 993 owners, or all Porsche owners for that matter, is different from what we see here. When i think of all of my E group friends/aquiantences, including those involved in track driving, who have Porsches, very few are frequenting chat boards, or websites at all. Most have never heard of Rennlist.

bull,

So you are saying that there should be more frequency in the number of D'd & E"s? And that the poll doesn't reflect the true 993 population.

That's a very good point. Many of the Porsche event's i've been to over the years have been with people my age and over. And My guess is if they've lived this long without computers they probably don't need them.

My experience is that my friends/acquaintances have computers, but they do little more than email. Don't understand chat boards and don't trust online shopping. God, I hope i never enter a big mall again!
