Reynard,
It's Salma's personality I'm after, I just want to sit up all night sipping green tea and discussing world politics and some deep philosophical issues. Yeah right
Midnight,
We need pictures. Plenty of pictures. If you could work Salma into them that would be great.

I am in the middle of building a Factory Five car. I have a new crate 351 Windsor with just over 400 hp ready to drop in and have had a blast thus far building it. The knowledge gained and the pride of craftsmanship are beyond words. Mine has Bilstein coilovers, IRS, a 5 speed Tremec tranny and 13"/11.65" Cobra discs. I'll have front and rear sway bars and am going to be running Goodyear F1 tires non Hallibrand knockoffs.

Looks like it is coming together nicely Rad. FF builds a nice kit and from what I've seen they are rather track worthy. Wouldn't mind doing one of the spec racer cars once I run out of things to do on the p-car. But that will be a long time.
How many hours do you have in so far? Look forward to seeing the finished product.

The picture above is about a month old. I have almost all of the cockpit aluminum riveted in and will get the drivetrain in next week.. Then its the wiring, interior and paint. I now have 100-150 hours in it but I am a bit compulsive and going slowly, trying to do a real quality build.

Too many morons on the road driving their battleships, watching TV, Ipod in one ear, cell phone in the other, looking at a nav screen, water bottles rolling around on the floor, and soccer ***** bouncing around in the back. I think the driving part is last thing many of these people are thinking about when driving these miniature aircraft carriers at speed.

Hey Rad22,
I highly recommend checking out Whitby Motorcars in Greensboro. Although it looks like you don't need any help, Jeff is a great guy, can and will answer any questions. Also they'll have just about every part you'll need.
They organize some good cobra related events as well. I know it's not next door but it's not that far away.
Jeff and the guys built my cobra and I can't recommend them enough.
Happy building!
