Hello newbie here.....:)
My name is Luis and I am a new memeber (sort of) here. I signed up last year but just started posting. I am a Porsche addict and have been for most of (if not all) my life. When I was born, my father owned a tangerine 73 911S in San Juan Puerto Rico. I went home from the hospital in this car and this is where I beleive it all began. He helped start and was president of the PCA chapter in Puerto Rico in the mid 70's. He has since owned 16 different Porsches and currently has an 02 Gt2. I have been around these cars all of my life and purchased my 1st one (83 944) when I was 18 (12 years ago). Then came an 86 944, a 89 944s2 which we still have and have since turned into a PCA F class car although, I have never had the chance to actually race it but have done many DE's in. I lived in Mn up untill 3 years ago and moved to FL. I am still a member of the Nord Stern chapter and plan on moving back to Mn within the next couple of months. My current cars are a Polar Silver 95 993 and a Seal Gray 01 Boxster (wifes). Here are a couple of pics.
Very nice forum guys!
Thanks,
Luis

Welcome Luis,
Very nice cars indeed. I, like you, have loved Porsches all my life. It started in the early 60's when my dad brought home a Speedster and took me for a ride at the ripe old age of 5.
My first P car was a 1969 912, then I moved up to a 70' 914-6, which by the way I should have never sold! After the 914 I had a 73' 911T Targa then moved to a 79' 911SC which became a full race GT-3 in the early 90's. I quit racing in 99' and sold the car and spares but still had the need for speed, so I recently bought a nice one owner 95' 993 that I'm converting to RSCS spec and couldn't be happier.
Welcome again and have fun with your cars and this forum.

Gentelmen,
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Pedro,
I live in by Clearwater beach so its every bit of 3.5 hours down there (in the 993 of course)
I have friends on that coast however and will give you a heads up when I plan to head that way.
Zombie,
Nice P-car story for you as well! I will hopefully be converting my 993 to an RS spec car.
Fister,
Looks like our cars are identical. My interior is completely blue though.
I look forward to chatting/contributing in this forum in the future.
Thanks again.
