I am considering this insurance carrier for my car and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them if you have had to make a claim?

Hagarty covered my '85 Turbolook for 4 years, but fortunately no claims.

They wouldn't handle the 993, as it was too new, so I wound up at GMAC. Their rates were so good, I moved all my cars there. No claims so far, luckily.

they had my 66 mustang gt, 67 corvette roadster, but when it came to my grandnational or any of my porsches they wouldnt touch them. even though they were ocasionally driven they were to new. i did hear not to long ago they have restructured and were taking on newer collectibles and classics. dont know if that is true though. no claims either., thank goodness. i just went with my home owners ins. co., living in the midwest i park my cars nov1 and it goes to storage rates until april 1. it drops the rates dramatically.

I just got a quote from GMAC and the quote is a joke...or the quote software has a glitch..

4 cars (96 993, 01 Audi A4, 05 Honda CRV, and 93 Nissan Maxima). Each less than 7500 miles per year. No accidents or tickets. High point scorer on credit rating. 3 drivers. Self and wife as 50 something professionals. 19 year old son assigned to the Maxima with driver training course. 100/300. Pennsylvania, 20 miles outside of Philly.

They quoted $8K a year. Current carrier is $2600 per year.
