Note the LM wheel spokes are not recessed (scalloped? ) on the sides of the spokes. I think this is a slightly different model (perhaps dating back to the 90's of course.) It's certainly a nicely detailed yet "classic" wheel -- it's really the basis for just about all of those "Y" spoke designs and copied by all the current brands. I prefer a design without the split rim three piece bolts, but back in the day, this was, along with the RS-GT, pretty much the high bar for wheels on a 993.
Anyway, I'm curious about those seats and the cabin trim of that particular car. : )
That's an interesting 993. The cabin looks to have been redone in leather, the seats look a bit like Recaro Pole Positions redone with a different leather upholstery design, maybe they're like the Carrera GT seats.
Is there more information or photos of this car? The photo event or location?
These are the BBS E88 if the center out of aluminum - which they look like.
Links work fine, inserting pics doesn't... What am I doing wrong ?
There's no "insert pic" only "insert link to pic" ... for some reason links to those flickr addresses don't resolve inside the forum ... otherwise use "manage attachments" button located below the reply text box. There are limits on the size of image attachments.
Try this: Click the Insert Image icon and then cut & past your URL for the photo
Good job.
Oh no -- it's yellow!
(just kidding)
Anyway, what kind of trailer is that in the background? It looks like it has one, big plastic box that lifts up ... that seems like a great way to go ... small and light, and easy to tie down the car. Does anybody recognize it?
looks sweet, allot lighter then the LMs I would imagine!
haha yeah, I was actually very surprised at the weight of the Kinesis wheels, especially for a 3-piece 18" wheel. I've gone through tons of wheels with my other cars and this is the first multi-piece wheel that I've picked up and had a similar weight to that of a forged monoblock wheel.
