I'm really digging these HRE's on Basem Wasef's 993 from "The Last of the Analog Porsches" article in this month's Panorama. What do you guys think? Any ideas on the spec and model of this particular set of HRE's?

The model is going to be either the R101 or the P101. I believe I see the front tire size to be 18" which will automatically mean they are the R101's as the P101's only come in 19" sizing and above.
Here's another look at the R101's. Feel free to contact me if you'd like ti replicate this fitment for your 993.

Those are for sure 18" R101's in Satin Bronze. Wish there were more photos of this car though.
Started this project and want to share what worked and what to avoid. Started with wheels from Rottec Carbon in Canada...they look good. Good at 140mph plus. Bought RUF bumpers from Better Bodies....returned them. Fit-mit was TERRIBLE !!! Cannot say this any louder. Flimsy and maybe 3 oz of fiberglass. No hardware. Bought RUF bumpers from RUF Dist. Weissach / Canada. Chris there was extra helpful!! . Took 3-4 weeks ETA. They look great, gelcoat, maybe 9oz of fiberglass. Reinforced with Carbon Fiber at crucial structure points. GREAT bumper!! Hardware included. They did have to be fabbed to accommodate the US license plate...not happy about that. BTW, no US rep for RUF any longer. Car is black and probably going with matte red wrap. With newest Rturbo RUF badge on rear wing!! 35K to paint engine comp. remove windows, etc. didn't make a lot of sense. Red seat belts, Porsche has both front and rear factory OEM. NOT 7 panel if thinking about cheaper just re-webbing option. Used Sunset for these belts.... Powder coated ferrari yellow brembo calipers. I'll take a few photos when finished....look a lot like the red tt that I've seen in the forum pages with yellow calipers....minus the matte red finish.

wish we had helped you. We are a RUF dealer in Los Angeles. The rear bumper you got is the European version for the euro plate. The US version has smaller plate opening to fit the US plate. In our opinion that looks better. The US version is NLA but we have it in stock. We have also plate bracket solution for the European bumper for US plate.
