Legend has it Ferrari offered this guy a new F-car of some type in trade for this model. I dont think he traded
I just wonder what the 30K mile service would cost for the model? Would it be 1/5th the cost?

Hey Steve,
You must be talking about that french chap who built that running model of the 312.
I was blown away by that. He could even shift the gears and press the throttle with his fingers, if I remember right.
I have been searching for a Pocher 993 1/8th scale model to build. Just ran across these videos.

Posche has not made that 1/8th 993 for some time now. FWIW, I do have a brand new of those in a box along with the detail kit needed to finish it correctly. Its black, too.
Let me know if you are interested.

His name is Pierre Scerri. And he is cool regardless of his nationality.

But something tells me I'm going to have to wait until I recover from this winter's upgrade "festivities" before I can afford to take it from you.
I'd love to see some pictures of it.

I have a black Pocher 993 completed with the engine detail kit-it's awesome.
If you go to scaleautoworks.com and look you can see that they are working on a GT2 conversion kit for the Pocher model! I will be so in to one of those when they finally finish it.
Check it out-http://www.scaleautoworks.com/PorscheGT2transkit.html
