Rufus is ready for his first outing. I've been searching the archives to try to find the post, but no luck. Who is meeting where? There may be a couple of us from the west... where can we meet you guys for the ride up the hill?

The "Porsche Timeline" display featuring representative years and models throughout the history of Porsche will be at Lake Arrowhead Village Saturday 15 October from 10 am to 3 pm.

There are two approaches to Lake Arrowhead Village - - from I-215 in San Bernardino or from I-10 in Redlands/Riverside.

From 215 (San Bernardino) take SR-30 East to SR-18 North. Follow 18 approx. 22 miles, past junction 138, along Rim of the World Hwy, past Rim Forest to Left on SR-173.
SR-173 winds down a hill to a junction with SR 189. Proceed straight ahead across 189 into the ‘driveway’ that leads into Lake Arrowhead Village parking lot. There will be signs and or guides to direct you around the parking lot. Registration is down a short sidewalk at the North-West corner of the main parking lot.

From 10 (Redlands) take SR-30 north toward Highland, bear right at junction with SR-330.
Take 330 approximately 13 miles past Fredalba. SR-330 crosses under 18 and loops back, joining SR-18 from the north. Bear right onto SR-18 westbound into Running Springs. Continue west on 18 approximately 7 miles to bear right on SR-173.

Thanks for the great details. Are you going? I made a mistake (prolly not my first or last)... this was posted over on another board, and I've been searching like mad on Rennlist. Duh! We may get a few folks together and drive up. Which car will you be in?

I should be going (Wifey and kid in tow). Not sure what time I'll be going up, but planning to be there for lunch!

Looks to be a little cool up in the mountains so take jackets! (high of 60 and overcast IIRC)
