Default Rear gear noise when making tight turns

with manual gear box engaged in 1st or 2nd and when making tight turns (right) at low speed, i hear loud gear grinding noise from the rear,

i know that most LSDs becomes noisy in tight turns but wonder if the noise is from wheel bearings or from worn out LSDs or otherwise.

your views/experience please...thanks in advance

I haven't experienced this but first thing came to my mind while reading the title of your post was "LSD" follwed by "rear wheel bearing"...

Jack the rear up and rotate one wheel at the time and see if there's any excessive play or griding noise. Then maybe hold other wheel so that it doesn't turn and turn the other, maybe you can hear something then.
Putting a long screw driver (with hard plastic handle) to the spot where you think the noise could come and then holding the handle part of the screw driver on your ear makes a good "tool" hearing noises like this.

I have to agree with FF. 993 spider gears have been known to chunk and come apart.
