This looks like a great cupholder, but isn't it a real disadvantage to not be able to move the passenger's seat??

I have two of the Inventa cupholders - I bought one for me and my wife complained so I bought one made for a RHD car (so it is the mirror image). I have one mounted on the right side of my driver's seat and one of the left side of the passenger seat.

Mark - you CAN move the seat forwards and backwards -- just not fully forwards.....it is not a problem.

The only downside is, during the summer when I am trying to get to the track often, the BK fire extinguisher mount gets in the way of the passenger cup holder.

I got mine from the group buy and it has been a very practical mod.

I have bent one screw (by moving the seat to forward), but Jef graciously sent me a replacement twice (the 1st one got lost in the mail). The only problem I see is if you have the BK fire extinguisher mount, you will not be able to use it on the passenger side.

The RHD cupholder is a great idea! I just have to get another one for the driver side I find that this cupholder placement on the passenger side is somewhat difficult for me to reach. Having one near my right leg should be just right for early morning DD coffee grab . . .

I also ordered the plate relocation kit...starting to hear too many horror stories of no-front-plate tickets in the the LA area

After seeing the install, not sure how it would work on a turbo bumper. If it doesn't work, I may be interested at the right price

i have the cupholder and can not use it on the passenger seat b/c i installed the b-k mount. How does it fit on the drivers side? Are you guys using it on the left side or right side? If right side, to you turn it over and mount upside down?
anyway to make it work with the b-k mount?

The front plate kit looks nice. I made a similar setup for myself (had to get it done ASAP), and by the time you mock it up, cut the metal, drill & install the kit is well priced.

Why won't it work with '98+ cars? Does it attach to the seat rail?
I'd like to have one but I have 996 seats in my car.
