Sounds cool . . . I've got black and have been wanting to do this also . . . as I think it will look great . . . plus my original one is sort of bent out of shape. Also, I've already replaced the rear deck black "Carrera" emblem with a silver one. How did you decide on the one from Devek?? Are you going to install it yourself?? Is it easy?? Can you post a pic of it -- before and/or after you get it put on -- c'mon man -- I'm jonsin'.

BTW -- I was thinking also of getting rid of the OEM colored wheels caps -- any idea where to purchase some good quality silver ones besides just the plastic OEM ones?? I seem to recall someone bringing this up before -- but I just cannot recall where they were talking about.

No more gold (or amber!) on my car... I think it looks a lot cleaner.

The "Carrera" emblems were black on black cars . . . save for maybe the "4" or "S" models . . . my '96 C2 black cab had black . . . and I changed it to silver.

Carrera 4s all had silver emblems and silver calipers.

For all of you that want hood emblems, or wheel emblems, go to www.boothedesign.com go to the gallery for all the options. I believe the owner if Ralph Boothe a very nice guy. Anyhow, I have a couple of them that I am not doing anything with. They won't come with the pretty box, and you'll have to use the existing rubber from the stock one, but I don't want much for them ( Those of you that are local to me, you can just pick them up, or meet me at The Rock Store off Muhulland some weekend when i go for my moto ride.) I bought center caps for my Kinesis wheels that used the hood emblem, but they looked funny as they were too big, I should have bought the smaller ones. The install is super easy.

I will be doing this weekend so will take pics and the install is easy with the exception of the rubber gasket..I see from other threads that there were LOTS of probs and people used the old one ....as to the carerra badge at the back, mine is black, where do I get a silver one from????
Nice wheel centers on the www.boothedesign.com site, if a little expensive
