Pry the cap off & use an 8mm (I think) socket.

Seems too deep to use a normal socket, that's all.

Take off the rectangular cover on the bumperette and yes, IIRC, you must use a deep socket on an extention to reach the 8(?)mm nut.

I bought a 1/4" socket/rachet set from Sears a few months back and it has proved invaluable on working on the pcar.

Hey... works for me.

Honestly, spend the money for the Craftsman set then use the 1/4" ratchet anyplace it's too tight to get with in w/ the larger ratchet sets. Break the ratchet??? Lifetime replacement guaranty!!

Tried it and it worked. I'll be, if they don't think of everything.
