Default 993 RS Body Parts and Turbo S Ducts for Sale

Thought I would give you 993 forum guys first dibs on these...

Due to the inability to get proper paint matching locally, I have decided to forgo the idea of upgrading body work on my car and keep it stock. I have been collecting these parts for over a year now and have gone through 3 painters to get a perfect match, but no one here is able to do the job.

I have the following parts for sale....

1. Porsche OEM RS front splitters. Flexible plastics used so they won't crack if you should bump into something as opposed to the fiberglass used by the knockoffs. These have been painted w/ polar silver, but they do not match. Flexible primer has been used, so all you would need to do is sand, then topcoat with color of your choice. SOLD

2. MA Shaw RS tail... Brand new. One of the best quality RS tails around. I have holes drilled for the mounting bolts in the tail already. Includes mounting bolts from a spare decklid. This piece is exactly as you would get from MA Shaw. Not painted... gelcoated and needs minimum prep work before painting. SOLD

3. OEM Aerokit 2 side skirts. Brand new in box. SOLD

4. MA Shaw TT Turbo S ducts w/ 38w fog lamps. Again, very high quality work from MA Shaw. Brand new in box. I have drilled one hole in one side to mount, but later found hole is not needed if you still have the bumperettes. Hole will not be seen when unit is mounted. SOLD

5. RS pulley upgrade. Pulley only, brand new. SOLD

6. Used black plastic grill used for RS tail above. You can reuse yours, if you can get it out in one piece or buy a new one from Porsche for about $100. Asking $65 plus shipping.

7. Air intake tract used for fixed tail applications. Brand new. SOLD http://p-car.com/diy/intake/

I took my time to research and select the best components on what I thought would end up being a knockout RS clone, but alas, it is not to be. Pictures will be posted later when I get the pieces back from the painter. Don't miss out on some hard to get items.

Please PM me if interested.

Thanks

Damn, Kelly..

Sorry to see you parting with these parts. I know how excited you were to get them on your car.
Your car would have looked amazing with these on.

Note to Self: If I ever move to Hawaii, make sure to get your car parts painted before the move.

Kelly,

Don't let the RS PULLEY go. The install can be a bitch, but a worthwhile one. Combine with some RS Motor Mounts...(easy DIY) and the RS Clutch and LWF and you've got a much more nimble, quicker car.

Good Luck on your other sales......!!

Talking No, No David...it's mine!!! (Well maybe it is?)

In order to buy the RS Pully you have to demonstrate to K Kim you know the following (He told me to post this! )
A. Identify and correctly spell the the to spell the Hawaii State fish?
B. Who is Gabby Pahanui, and what is his most famous song?
C. Name two (2) of Gabby's sons!

Next you maust have done the following mods:
1. RS Motor Mounts
2. RS Tranny Mount
3. RS Flywheel

I have done these and do know the name of the Hawaii State fish as well as the Gabby Pahanui question...now deal with it!

In addition...be at Streets of Willow this weekend for your spanking!

Martin - I know the name of the fish (hama....whatever.) but have no idea how to spell it, so you win And I've also not done any RS mods yet

I would love to be at SoW this weekend but unfortunately have been stuck in Hong Kong for a few months now

Factory RS Fan Pulley - This pulley design locks the fan to the alternator, eliminating one belt. This reduces the horsepower used to drive the system and reduces the likelihood of belt failure simply because there are fewer moving pieces.

i thought i read here that there could be potential stalling problems with this set-up...

I think the concern is that the alternator spins slower at idle. Possible headlight flicker or dimness, when sitting still. With HID upgrade it should not be an issue.
Stalling issue was with MY95 and LWF.
