Electrical Hiss???
I have a hiss that seems to vary pitch by rpms...I know this is a basic question but what can I do to make it stop. I just got the car today and have not had a chance to check the spark wires but they have to be oem I think since the car is a 96 with 29,894 miles. I searched for a topic...no luck.

Jim I have the stock stereo and it is a hiss with the stereo off. I am not sure if it is coming from the speakers but I don't think it is....but how else could I hear a hiss if it is not coming from the speakers?
