It is a different car...I kinda like this car better than the 96 and I think you are correct about the other wing being a GT2 wing.

Fill is right. The 96 has a 993 GT2 wing. It is quite ever the top, but the entire 993 GT2, with it's curled front spoiler, riveted flare wheel wells, and gigantic rear wing, is deliberately over the top. When I first saw a replica of the car, I thought that was some sick kit-car joke. However, after reading up extensively on it, and seeing pics of Jean's car, I love the 993 GT2 now.

Oh to answer your question, I like the 96 better. I guess with my RUF, I'm more acustomed to a bigger tail. The 95 with the basket-handle 3rd brake light, looks a little soft. JMHO of course.

I'll second Jason...95 with no chrome wheels! The 96's spoiler is too high...it kills the car's line in my humble opinion...kind of spoiler you'll find in Japanese cars with undercarriage neon lights...stick with the 95 and get your dream set of wheels in the future...

Not that it matters to me, but the '95 hands down. But you get what you like.

Of the 2 you ask of . . . the '95 IMHO . . . but I agree with the "no chrome wheel" idea expressed by some above.

The '95 looks O.K. I think it would be better looking if it didn't have the chrome wheels.

The wing on the '96 looks like it's out of place on the car and the wheels look like they have spacers on the rears. Looks like the rears will rub pretty badly when/if you hit any uneven pavement at speed.

As usual, Edward summed it up perfectly...
