Default Fog Light Help

Hello there, I am a new 993 Porsche owner, and have to say that I spent many mounths on this form before purchasing one, rennlist is nothing short amazing in terms of the support and information you provide. My problem is that i went to get my car certified so that I could get insurance and it did not pass, my drivers side fog light has a crack in it so the car would not pass. I would like to know if anyone has one that they would sell me? It would be greatly appreciated if they had an old one I could take off there hands.

Unbelievable! ...just because of a crack?

What about 'fixing' it with a clear plastic repair kit. (On the assumption that the BULB etc. is OK.)
?

No doubt you've also witnessed the generosity between RL members. With some parts being given away and others at a very reasonable cost.

in what state do you live? since fog lights are not at all mandatory i can't imagine why a cracked for (or completely non-funcitoning fog, for that matter) would be of any concern to your insurance carrier...maybe it is time for a new carrier.

I think that was meant as a subtle suggestion to update your profile to include your location - makes it much easier to be able to provide and advice knowing where you are.

I don't think you can buy the lens only...you have to buy the whole assembly to replace it...my lenses are a little bit yellowish and I'd love to replace them...problem is: price of each is over $250 !!!!!!
