Default PPI resource in Kirkland, WA area

I may have located the 993 I am searching for and would like to know of a few well-respected dealers / shops in the Kirkland area for a thorough PPI.

The car was originally purchased from Robert Larson's Porsche and has also been serviced by Barrier Porsche and Squire's Autowerke. So ideally, I would like to have it taken to an alternate facility. Thank you in advance!

Go to Aker's in downtown Seattle. They are GREAT! I had a PPI done there on a car I didn't buy. I also heard from Steve W. at Rennesport Systems, that they a re a very good & honest shop.

Brian,
Is this the correct contact info:

Akers Porsche Parts & Service
1414 Broadway Ave
Seattle, WA 98122
(206) 329-5253

It's all I could find on the Web.

Andreas - I would put my mechanic in the mix:

Chris Powell
Chris's German Auto
http://www.chrisgerman.com/

He is in Bellevue, probably a little easier to get to that Akers from the eastside. He's done work on both my '87 and '95 911s. His other 2 mechanics are great also.

Good composition and colors too.
I also respect someone who ponies up for membership before ownership.

Just got off the phone with Chris Powell and discussed the whole PPI matter. Very reasonably priced, and more than willing to talk about other, non-important 993 quirks that I was curious about.

I'll know tonight if the car is mine!

Thanks for the car cover Mark - why does it smell like mothballs!?

(1) Robert Larson in Tacoma
I tried to purchase 993 there back in 1996, and had very bad experience.
(2) Barrier in Bellevue
This dealer is near Microsoft campus and they seem to have high prices on everything, while quality of their service is mediocre in my experience.
(3) Squire's in Bellevue
I visited this place last year to inspect it for myself in case I need to go to a shop (so far, I have done all maintenance myself). The owner came out, look at my 993 and gave me some useful advice. This is a place I would recommend.

No worries, the car is scheduled for a PPI at Chris Powell's shop on Monday. Keep your fingers crossed!
