SBBC (South Beach Breakfast Club) is Back! S. Florida Drive on Sep. 3rd
OK folks,
After a long summer hiatus (for various reasons) South Beach Breakfast Club, aka SBBC is back!
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, here's little info:
We have this thing called South Beach Breakfast Club once a month on first (used to be 2nd but now is 1st) Saturday morning of the month.
SBBC has been "off" for a while but now we're starting to do it again.
It goes like this: we'll meet every 1st Saturday of the month, at 7 am. and always from the same place: This time it's Tower Shops located east of University Drive just south of I-595 but we can discuss wether this will be our permanent starting place or if people have better ideas.
From there we'll drive down to South Beach, have breakfast and everyone is back at home by 10 am or something.
Idea behind this is that when it's always the same place, same time, people can just show up, no need for special announcements (even though we do it anyway, just in case...).
We start early so there's not that much traffic, easy to find parking and after we're done, you still have whole Saturday left to spend with your family or whatever you are doing.
So, next SBBC is on September 3rd, 7 am at Tower Shops. We always have coffee etc., chat for a while before we leave but if you come after 7.30, we're most likely gone so be early!
So far we have at least: me, Marcelo, Rudy, Rico, Pedro and couple of his friend coming but more the better!
Basically no need to do a "line-up" but it would be good if people let me know who's coming. You can post it here, or send an PM or e-mail to me.

As always sounds like it would be a lot of fun and I would love to put more faces with the screen names. However, for me to make 7am on the east coast I would have to be up 5am on the west coast... just a bit early for a Saturday morning breakfast. One of these days perhaps...

Next time when we do "special SBBC" aka go to Keys for lunch or something, then you should come. Like you said, being here 7 am is little too far fetched.

Let's do either News Cafe or Pelican that way we're right on Ocean Dr. The last few times Pelican was pretty good, so I guess my vote is for Pelican.
