Default CROSS Suspension tech support

Dear All,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ben and I am working at CROSS Suspension by JIC. I've seen so many question regarding our products on the forums, that is why I decided to come on the forum and help to answer your technical and non-technical questions.

Regards,

Ben

Ben, this is very generous of you to offer such help. Rennlist is a great place filled to the brim with great people and a lot of technical horse power available to all who are in need.

One thing that John and Jenn are strict about is vendors selling product without being a Rennlist sponsor. Just a word of warning

Again, welcome to Rennlist!

Chris,

Thank you for the warning. I'm not selling anything here. I'm just trying to help on educating the industry about our products since I've seen a lot of questions about CROSS products but it seems like nobody willing to call and ask. So, I am trying to approach it in different communication method.

I am also still working in getting approval to be one of the Rennlist sponsor in a very near future.

Scott,

How is your car doing? Is everything great? I've been meaning to contact you via email, but been really busy with German Autofest preparation.

Once agian. Thank you for the welcome greets.

Regards,

Ben

Ben, thanks for coming to this forum. i have heard great things about the JIC Cross suspenjsion from Viperbob and others (John Wright from Wright Tuning in Cincinnati had good things to say about them).
I am wondering how you are dealing with the issue of the rear drop link. I have TRG rear drop lins w/ TRG sways. My understanding is that the Cross's won't fit with that set-up and I would need to have new drop links fabricated that can reach. Is that the case?

Alex,

All of the coilovers are designed based on the factory specs which our kit fits perfectly. But, that doesn't mean that we are ignoring the possibility of making aftermarket sway bar to fit on our coilover. The news is, we are currently working on an optional adjustable rear drop link that will work with other sway bars, at least other 993 factory sway bars. Price and availability are still unknown.

Ben

Chuck,

I believe you will need to use an aftermarket drop link. As I explained to Alex, we are currently working with an optional adjustable length rear sway bar drop link.

I believe ViperBob has a drop link that will work with our coilover already.

Ben

I had Viper Bob fabricate some rear links for my C4S, with TRG bars and the Cross JIC comp set up. When I recieved the links, my mechanic and I thought they didn't fit, but we finally realized they actually do reach properly. The links seem to be working fine and the quality is excellent. BTW, I love my Cross JIC set up. Amazing quality and handling. Still working with the adjustments, but it is a great setup.

I bought my car with the Cross coilovers and am very happy with their performance, I've always ran H&R coilovers on my cars so I was a little leary at first but the handling and ride quality are top notch for sure. One thing I could really use is a manual that details the adjustments/settings, is there one available?

Thanks,
Frank
