I'm with David on this one. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I hope I am wrong.

Adam,

How come the ad says fit 1999 to 2005 Carrera and he bought them for his 2003 tt. I thought your's a 1996.

I guess you will not be needing any black wheels anymore?

Pong, I am probably going to buy both sets of wheels! I will notofy you if our plans change! I called RUF Dallas and gave them the specs that he gave me. Wayne told me that RUF only made one offset in the 11" wide rear wheel...which is 60. ANd it will fit 996 and 993 according to Wayne. We will see! I wont buy unless I am assured that they will fit. If his fit I will buy both his wheels and yours. If his dont fit I will buy JUST your wheels.

You may want to double check with one of the online wheel fitment estimators and check the inboard clearance when you test mount these on your car. I think standard offset on your car is ET40 so ET60 for an 11" rim would move the tire 32-33mm closer to the suspension pieces which should be OK. But you'll probably want to use a 10-12mm spacer as these won't fill the wheelwells since the tire will 7-8mm further away from the fender.

I think 11" ET60 is for a narrowbody...no fender rolling but inboard is tight. Don't forget to post pics when/if you get these...I'm a big fan of the K58R and these have a similar look

What ever happened to these wheels? Did they get delivered as advertised? I'm surprised there's been no update after 10 days. How about a follow-up?

Steve,

Adam is now in Paris. Yes, an American in Paris, so I'm not sure he'll respond to your question. I know for a fact that he does have RUF wheels though.

that's from him reneging on the previous sale of the wheels Adams993 bought... from the eBay description...

"These are a set of exclusive RUF wheels and tires. They will fit any Porsche 911. The wheels size are: Rear: 11 * 18 and Front: 8.5 * 18. The tires are Continental SportTact2, Front size: 225/40/18 and Rear: 295/30/18. TheY are almost brand new and only have about 500 miles on them."

Quick questiion: Category of items on eBay with the highest rate of fakes and scams?

Answer: After-market car parts.

I sure hope the nay-sayers are wrong but this does not look good with a -1 feedback!

I hope everyone here is wrong and that you received your wheels in the condition as stated in the listing. Rennlisters are renowned for being able to sniff out scammers and trolls, so please don't be offended if the presented data is looked at with a wary eye.
