Chris, your car looks great with those wheels. Did you have them painted? or OEM.

These are OEM Porsche wheels available through any dealer. Came out in 2002 on the 996 Carrera as an option. We call them MY02 for short.

Talk to Larry Irby in the parts dept. at Boardwalk Porsche in Plano. He regularly has takeoff wheels and sells them at reasonable rates.

They are still on a roll of carbon prepreg, in a freezer, somewhere. I am as frustrated as you are, believe me.. Its amazing how fast time goes-by. I am sitting in an airport at 5:30 am, and I am just realizing that its August already

Believe me, I know how it goes (especially when you travel a lot)!

If/when something happens, keep me informed.

Alon, can you post some side shots of your RS-GTs? Those are very tempting.

Very nice, thanks. I assume you had to roll your rear fenders to get the 11" to fit.

Thank you.

Rolled fenders? Absolutely not. My car is a C2S (wide body) and it can swallow up another 1/2 inch on the outside if I wanted. Believe it or not, there is no clearance issue what-so-ever. They are wide body-specific but my friend just got a set of 18 x 8 and 18 x 10 for his narrow body cabriolet. If your car is the narrow body, go for that size. Many have tried to use wide body fitment wheels on a narrow body but with failed results (ok, not everyone but many).
