Default help with pictures
Would someone be willing to let me e-mail pictures of my 993 for correct sizing to update my avatar/and or to post. (limited tools & knowledge) Thanks in advance.

Done.

Resizing from 640x480 to approx 250x150 is not the only way needed to get under the 20 kb limit Rennlist imposes on avatar size.

You also have to increase the jpeg compression of the photo to reduce it's file size, not just pixel size.
