damn, sorry to hear about this. hopefully they take it back. that's the kind of $h1t you expect from a car lot and not a Porsche dealer.

damn, make sure you get your money back. does it say anywhere in their certification that the car had no body/ paint work done?

Sorry to hear that!! I’d be very interested to hear how it works out for you. I live in the area and perhaps offline you could let me know what dealership it was?

That sucks.

Congrats on the checkride, though!

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks guys.....it is one of those shty things. Here is the sad part=I drove it to Boston for dinner and it is what I want. The body work is so CRAPPY. How did I not see it??? I am such a neat FREEK! It only has 20k on it but the front end is tweeked and the airbag light went off like it might not even be there?? Man I F'd up. I really trusted this guy?? I am pondering a 997 from another dealer?
I should just stick to my 1994 rusty GMC suburban!..........Ok maybe a helicopter? They finance them for 15 years?
HMMMMMM?
na I like these damn cars!

There are tons of attorneys out there. If I was a betting man, I would say thatyou are friends with at least one. Have him/her assist you. If car dealership represented to you that the car was accident free and you relied on that promise in ultimately deciding to purchase the car, then, I'd say they are on the hook for a buy back or the difference in cost between a car that was in an accident and one that was not. Good luck

I thought a clean carfax was a requirement of the certified status. I am sure they will take it back.

When I bought my E55 recently I was comforted by the Starmark certification. I can easily see how you made your mistake. Fortunately mine is an accident free car that runs like a top. (or should I say rocket?!)

Good luck.

You are not going to believe this=It is true. I brought my only lawyer frind to the dealer last week to test drive a used boxter, a trial/litigation ?? attorney! I do not think I will need him though, I will either get this car VERY fixed as it is cosmetic and some $$$ or I buy a 997 from somebody else? I am going to bed, please pass the sleep eeeeeez! UUUGGGHH!
Steve
