Looks good.

As a matter of fact, too good to have those ratty exhaust tips sticking out (I know, tough crowd... ).

If you take them off and put them on a polishing wheel a bit you can get them looking new (without looking 'chrome'). Be sure to do the back plate also (vertical 'wall' behind ovals).

The bright stainless really pops (pics don't do it justice)

Don't get carried away though, otherwise you'll find yourself cleaning your car on those nice 50 degree Michigan winter days (see pic)

Not that I would do such a thing...

Funny that you mentioned that, Jeff. I ~do~ intend to polish the tips, but I didn't have anything on hand to do it.

I think I am going to try Luster Lace first--strips of fabric preloaded with a polishing agent. I wanted to get over to American Cycle Mart (I think that is the name) on M-59 to pick some up. I've seen/read good things about them:

BTW, it will be hard to resist washing the car when we get to those balmy 50 degree days. Although, I wonder if the left over moisture is worse than the winter accumulation of dust. Just thinkin' out loud.

After re-reading my post, the word ratty seems a bit harsh even in jest...

No worries about left-over moisture, as I try to drive on nice days year-round (except if salt residue is thick).

Careful over at cycle-mart, as the choppers are very cool (and I'm not into choppers). But I suspect that your plane hobby takes up a good deal of your 'toy' funds, so you may be safe.

Oh, I have pretty thick skin. The "ratty" comment didn't even phase me.

Well, I stopped there on the way home--well, it wasn't really "on the way", but who wants to drive straight home on those days like these. Good news, bad news. Bad news first -- they no longer carry Luster Lace, so I will just order it online. Good news -- I escaped there without buying anything.

I'll let you know how it goes.

That is hilarous that you mentioned the airbox. I was standing there (doing my best Alfred Hitchcock impersonation) and thought, "I should really open up the airbox and clean in there--I ~know~ someone will notice." That's why I took the second pic from the lower right angle.
