heya bob, it was so great to catch up with you finally and I'm so glad things worked out. I wish you the VERY best in the future and I for one am VERY sad to see you leave. You were always very kind to me and ever so encouraging. The 993 community in the Bay Area will NOT be the same.

Well I sold the car tonight... It is staying in the Bay Area with a current 993 owner. He is in for a LOT of great times ahead.....

Congratulations, or is that condolences? In any case, it's one less thing to think about. Sometimes a simple life is a blissful life (Paris Hilton etc. excepted). So do you have a moving date yet?

Congratulations on the sale of your car ... and on your upcoming move to Florida. Welcome! There are lots of us wacko Porsche nuts down here ... and many of us have benefited from your knowledgeable postings here on Rennlist. Sebring should be less than 2 hours from your new place ... it's a fun track ... and I hope we get a chance to meet up there or wherever at some point in the future.

Bob - congrats on your move and i only wish you and your family the best of luck.
That said, if you are coming to the east coast, you really should move to the NYC area so that you can be the "godfather" to my Turbo. Well, at least you are somewhat closer.

Thanks all for the well wishes. It was a great experience with all the folks here. I can not tell you how much I will miss all of you as my local friends. But I will still be around on the internet and just a phone call away. The BBQs are going to be a little hard to coordinate. I also look forward to meeting all the Porsche folks down in Florida. I am going to be moving to the Tampa area (Spring Hill actually which is about 40 miles north of Tampa). I will be keeping my same cell # going forward so everyone is always free to give me a call.

If I get back to the Northeast Rob I will be sure to look you up. I would love to go out on the track with you sometime and show you what your car can do.....

Wannab-turbo, I am close to Orlando (at least on the map). Hopefully we'll meet sometime.

Don't worry Dave, I will be frequenting the race tracks all through Florida and the southest.. I am sure we will see each other on the track....
