Where to buy Leatherique/Rejuvenator/Prestine
I too was mystified by the order of application, but it does take some dirt off and look good. And I tried the bake process twice, but not much difference as far as "lifting" dirt.
I would try some Woolite now, but I just did a Leatherique, so I'll wait.

Simple Green is way to harsh to clean leather with. It will create cracking problems down the road. Woolite or Ivory dish soap diluted is a much better Idea. If leather is really dirty you can use a 3m scrubby to get the dirt off with these products and you will not strip the finish. I refinish leather for a living and see the results of harsh cleaners years down the road on both automobiles and furniture. Also if you have the care cleaned by a detailer be sure they are not using solvent based cleaners to clean your leather seats. A lot of them do!

Thanks Brian, the Simple Green seemed a bit over the top to me too. I am going to stick to the Leatherique. The results on the cleaning side are slow coming, but they are coming. Maybe add a 3M scrubby to speed it up.

Rejuvinator oil IS the stuff to use, IMHO. I had used Lexol for years and "used" to like it until I tried this stuff on a whim. No left-over film like lexol, and feels smooth, supple, and natural. I've now been using rejuv oil for a couple of years and really like the results.

When I got home this afternoon, I had my leatherique kit waiting for me...I took the car to the sun, applied the oil with my hands (great feeling) and according to instructions, left the car in the sun to create the steam effect...after 3 hours (sunset) the product was already looking sticky and penetrating the leather...I did push the car back to the garage and I'm anxious for the results tomorrow morning...I'll get up early to clean it with the "Prestine clean" and wipe it dry for the final result...I'll post a feedback regarding the product...

No...although you clearly advised about your own mistake not picturing the "before"...as I had just a bit of sun light left to warm the car's interior, I totally forgot to take some macro detailed picutes to document the leather texture'before application...well...I'll take a couple tomorrow to show the after anyway...
I have a very good feeling about this Leatherique product!

My issue: my 993 is a low-mileage car, has black leather seats in good condition and I use Lexol products on them. However, others' seem to be shinier; my seats seem a bit dull, finish-wise.
Any recommendations on how to improve the luster of the leather? I don't want the seats to look like I put silicone on them, but something closer to original.

Griot's Garage's Leather Rejuvenator works very well. Penetrates well and softens well and has a mild, natural "new leather" scent. Same hand application you are using. Does not get sticky, easy to wipe off and rub to a soft luster.
