Beautiful car, apparently run off road by illegal in a old pickup truck with no insurance. Sunset and Beverly Glen at the entrance to Bel Air. The car looks so out of place wrapped around the pole. Driver and passenger were fine as air bags deployed. Car is a tip w/71k miles, and will no doubt be totalled. Anyone need a 3.6 motor or parts? Pics taken with new Sony Ericsson K750i w/ 2 meg camera.

someone last week was concerned about the safety of a 993.... someone should point him to this thread! The passenger compartment does not appear to be "wrinkled"

Kelley I think it did have bumperettes; look at the passenger side in the first pic. The fog light housing jumped out of it's brackets though, and I found the front license plate with bracket across the street! He hit harder than it looks I think.
Texas 911, yea I was pretty surprised at the pics too. If I had known they would be that good I would have taken more......

Kidding, of course.
Yes, it does look like it hit a lot harder than one would first think, judging by the pictures... thanks for posting. And I agree, those are great pics for a camera phone.

Wasn't there some discussion awhile back on the functionality of older air bags in P-cars? Well it's worth noting that these air bags did deploy in this 8-10 year old car....
