95' vs. later..varioram?WTB a 993 should I go 95'?

I limited my search to finding the best '95 out there (took 6 months) given my budget and my general dread of emissions related problems. Valve guides are enough to wory about; I passed on the CEL issues. The condition of the vehicle is more important than the year, but generally as the year goes up, so does the price. If I had the cash, I would have gone for a '98 and lived with any CEL issues that popped up.
