Anyone bought a G- Timer?

I have a G-Tech Pro RR (http://www.gtechpro.com/rr.html) and find it very useful. I do not know how well it correlates with a true 4WD dyno (as there is not one near me 
) but it is very consistent so I can see differences pre- and post- mods.

Thanks, your's looks more serious than the passport version! Does ot stop automaticaly when you reach 60mph and gives you your time? or do you have to have your finger on the button and be on the stand by to press it when you reach that speed to record your time????

It will keep recording your speed until you decelerate. It will then calculate your braking distance from that speed.
Ex. drive 0 - 105 then stop. It will determine 0 - 60, 0 - 105, 105 - 0, quarter mile, etc. All without you touching any button other than start (and the timer does not start until your car starts to move).

I just leave the cradle permanently attached to my windshield as I can't bring myself to drill holes in the dashboard.
I have not really had problems with variable results after mount/dismount but have no brilliant suggestions as to why I've had no problems.

IMO, if you test and calibrate your G tech on a drag strip or similar, and once it is well calibrated, you don't need a dyno, at the end of the day the dyno is only meaningful to compare before and after mods, the absolute numbers don't mean much and the acceleration measurement is much more accurate than a dyno reading.
Of course I am assuming that your objective is knowing how fast and how good your cars performs. Before and after engine mods will make sense if they improve real world performance, other than sound, looks or theoretical numbers.
Mike, I would do some research, there are a lot of dataloggers out there that have become very affordable and can give you a wealth of information with great analysis software, it might be worth the extra bucks, the charts and numbers you can get from them are fantastic. If you do a search in the racing forum, you can find from inexpesive to professional ones.

Yes it was protomotive who built the engine and shipped it back, they then met me in Germany last week to fine tune further and we did some independent dyno runs, It is quite fast
I bought the AIM MXL Pista datalogger, it is really nice, there are others more reasonable you should check them out before you buy.
Racetech has a new one that is "reasonably" priced ($900+) and has amazing features. You can later link it to video as well.

YES, "SICK" is a complementary word we sue here in VA for seriously "built for speed" cars with a very nice looks too!!! Do you have pix or website link for your car?? I would love to see bigger pictures other than the avatar
I'm gonna look at those data acquisition hardwares you mention, but I'm looking for the one that are a little bit more street friendly. I don't spend much time on the track
Just a weekend warrior for now. Maybe after I get a break from my work, I'll get more track time at VIR(Virginia International Raceway) which is just local here. Just DEs though. Pardon my ignorance for I've been away for a while, but do you race now? If you do, man you got the right tuned car!!!
