Hey Rennlisters

My name is Charles, I am with Vertexauto.com. We are a site sponsor yet I have not really done much posting as of yet so please excuse (and correct) me if my posting etiquette is off. I noticed that you guys were looking for some HID kits, and I saw that you were getting the 4800K for $250 shipped. Since you rennlisters have helped make Vertex a success, I would like to offer you the 6,000, 8,000 or the 12,000k (your choice) HID Kits for $249 shipped, within the continental US. This offer is ONLY for the rennlist members and you will need to ask for me should you decide to order. Our toll free # is 1-866-668-0660. If there is anything that we can do for you, please let me know! Thanks!!

I understand that anything over 4300K will be too blue. I would be interested in hearing more about your product. I prefer to recommend sponsor's products.

Charles,

I'd also like to hear more about any 4300K units. As I understand it, the only ~legal~ HID units in the US are 4300K united installed by the factory. However, that being said, it stands to reason that any addons should also be 4300K to "avoid being noticed". Do you guys offer the 4300K units and, if so, can you tells us about them....or provide a link.

As with all Rennlist gatherings, everyone is welcome. The more the merrier!
Thanks Chuck,

But just to be clear, the DE is not on the 13th, it is on the 14th.
I am leaving to go up to the track on the 13th because I am towing my vehicle and the track (thunderhill) is pretty far north.
I can however schedule to leave at a time and also do the HID's (I hope) with all you guys.

Do you live in a placel, should I decide to stop and do the install on the way to the track, that can accomodate me driving in my X5 with the Pcar being towed behind it??? Are you roads tight? twisty? or should I be able to get in ok?

thanks,
Seth

Wide open streets. You'll have no trouble. There is a lot of street parking. I wouldn't bring the trailer down the driveway though. We'll do yours on the street. Not a problem.....

Hello Group,

Unfortunately we do not have any 4,300K kits as, until now, we have not had a demand for them. You can view more information about our kits at http://www.vertexauto.com/rennlist/80.html I am currently running the 6,000k on my 911 and they are an intense white, not blue. The 8,000K are bluish white and the 12,000K are very blue, almost purple. For your reference, the red 911 shown in the above link are using the 8,000k. If there are any further questions, please let us know.

Thanks!!

Charles

I thought Vertex Automotive is our site sponsor. I'm probably missing something.

Edited: anyway, Jeff cleared up my confusion. Thanks Jeff.

My lights have just come in. Just wanted to confirm, are we doing the group install on Saturday or Sunday?
