Default '95 993 Owners Manual & Key Question

Anyone know where I can pick up a reasonably priced 1995 993 Owners manual? The previous owner of my car never had it (according to his PPI when he bouht the car), looks like the original owner lost it.

Also, I only got 1 key (again it's all the previous owner had (verified by his PPI)). Is there anything special bout the key on a '95, I don't have keyless entry.

Thanks in advance for your help.

LA Dismantlers seems to have most anything. I'd give them a try.

I also need one for my '96 I purchaed a few months ago... I'd call the dealer about the owners manual.. I have had no luck anywhere else when I looked for one.. Last I heard from my dealer (2 months ago) Porsche AG were changing publishers and were temperarily not available if they had to be ordered.. I need to check back with my dealer too about this...

You can buy the manual from a dealer. I think I paid $35 or so for mine fom Sunset imports a few months ago. Just the manual though, not the leather folio. They have keys and heads cheap too.

Brian IIRC they will sell at dealers cost (+15%) for MAIL ORDERS. Might be worth a phone call to them 1st. Or www.sunsetporsche.com
If all else fails keep a eye on ebay. Do the search for 911 AND 993 as some non Porsche fanatics do not now what a 993 is.
Good luck

Sunset only does that for mail customers outside of Oregon. I did get a PCA discount though I believe. They ordered the manual, & cut a lighted Crest Key for me, both were pretty reasonable IMO. Picked up a Spare DME while I was there too.

On another note, they have the clear Turn signal lenses for $74 a corner. I talked with Phile there, & he said they could be easily trimmed with a Dremmel to fit w/ the bumperettes. He also talked me through disassembling the basket handle to replace on of the bulbs in the 3rd brake light.
